Sacred chanting, meditation and heartfelt connection with your community
Immerse yourself in an evening of soulful connection and celebration and experience the transformative power of Kirtan.
Traditionally, Kirtan is a coming together of people where chants are usually sung in Sanskrit in a call-and-response style. We use the names of the Divine to cultivate love and devotion and to remember our own divinity and connection to source. Let the music allow you to get out of your head and into your heart. Cecily will be playing the harmonium and will be accompanied by her 14 year old son Cassius on the African drums. You may come just to receive, although we encourage you to sing and even play along… use some of our instruments (shakers, tambourine and chimes) or bring your own! This is a relaxed offering, appropriate for all levels, all ages. Vegan chai and sweets included.
