Bookings, Attendance and Payment
- By purchasing/booking into a class, you automatically agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
- The Introductory Teaser and Taster Offers are available to brand new clients ONLY of My Mama Said and clients can only choose 1 out of the 2 options. These offers can only be purchased once and CANNOT be extended.
- The Introductory Teaser Offer Pass ACTIVATES from the date of your first booking and has a 14-day expiry.
- The Introductory Taster Offer Pass ACTIVATES from the date of your first booking and has a 30-day expiry.
- Single Class Passes ACTIVATE from the date of sale and have a 3-month expiry.
- 5 & 10 Class Passes ACTIVATE from the date of your first booking and have a 6-month expiry.
- 20 & 50 Classes Passes ACTIVATE from the date of your first booking and have a 12-month expiry.
- 1 and 3 Month Memberships ACTIVATE from the date of your first booking.
- All purchases are deemed final, are not refundable and cannot be transferred to another person. NO refunds or transfers are permitted for partial use of class packs or memberships.
- In the case of a serious injury, we will require a medical certificate before extending the expiry date of a session pack. Extensions due to medical reasons must be requested before the expiration date. In the event a refund is issued a medical certificate will need to be supplied and a 5% transaction/administration fee deducted.
- Classes are not transferable to another individual and cannot under any circumstances be used by another person.
- Payment for classes must be made upon booking. To book a class you must either have pre-purchased sessions in your account or pay at the time of booking online or on the MMS App.
- To ensure your safety and avoid disruption to the class, latecomers who are more than 5 minutes late will not be admitted to class.
- Instructors and classes are subject to change without notice. My Mama Said reserves the right to cancel classes if necessary.
- Classes are for clients 15 years and over. Clients under 18 years of age will need a parent or guardian to sign a waiver form on their behalf before participating in class.
Cancellation Policy
Private Sessions: A 24hr cancellation policy applies
Group Classes: A 9-hour cancellation policy strictly applies.
All cancellations must be done by the client online 9 hours before the class starts. Phone calls and emails will not be accepted. We strongly suggest downloading the MMS App on your phone. It is the most convenient way to book/cancel your classes. Late cancellations/no-shows will not be offered a refund.
In the event of a late cancellation (within 9 hours of class starting) or a ‘no-show’ you will forfeit the class. If you are on a membership and late cancel /no-show for a class that is booked out at any point, then you will incur a $10 fee. This fee will automatically be deducted from your stored billing details.
All no-shows will incur a $10 fee whether the class is booked out or not. Please let us know if you are coming or not to avoid this fee.
Waitlist Policy
If a class you wish to book into is full please join the waiting list. You will then receive a notification via text when you have been bumped off the list into the class. You must reply to the text immediately on your decision to attend the class otherwise it is presumed you are attending.
If you are on the waitlist and are not intending to go to your class, you will still be charged for the session as the waitlist opens up inside the 9-hour cancellation period. To avoid losing your session/or being charged a fee please cancel yourself off the waitlist before the 9-hour mark. My Mama Said is not responsible if you miss your notifications. Keep your notifications turned on. Please log into your account via the MMS app or the website to double-check your bookings.
Memberships
Fortnightly Memberships
- You are entitled to BOOK 1 x class per day.
- If you decide to cancel your membership we require 14 days notice in writing via email to action your request.
- $10 Late cancellation and no-show fees apply. If you are not willing to pay the late fees then do not book into classes unless you are 100% sure that you will be attending. No exceptions will be made due to limited class sizes.
- All memberships require valid credit card or debit card details to be stored in your account to process payments. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details.

Upfront Memberships
- 1 Month Memberships are valid for 30 days.
- 1, 3, 6 and 12 Month Membership are not permitted a suspension.
- All upfront Memberships are entitled to book for ONE class per day only.
- $10 Late cancellation and no-shows fees apply. If you are not willing to pay the late fees then do not book into classes unless you are 100% sure that you will be attending. No exceptions will be made due to limited class sizes.
- All memberships require valid credit card or debit card details to be stored in order to process payments. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details. If your credit card details are not stored your membership will be suspended. See Upfront Membership Terms & Conditions here for more details
ANY class pass or duplicate membership purchased on top of your current membership will not be refunded.
Courses, Workshops, Masterclasses and Challenges are non-refundable or transferable and cannot be purchased in conjunction with any other special offer.
Training Courses are offered through Barre Instructors Australia. (BIA) please refer to the terms and conditions on their website.
Online Subscription
A subscription with My Mama Said P/L means that you automatically agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Signing up for this membership will mean that you will have a monthly fee deducted from your nominated account. (payments are subject to usual bank charges).
Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. We do not offer refunds for partial membership periods or if you have not used the service. Please make sure you cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before your next billing cycle. It is your responsibility to cancel your subscription. No refunds will be issued. Declined payments will incur a $1.00 fee for every day that payment is not received. This will be added to your monthly payment. How to cancel your subscription.

- Login to your Account
- Go to My Info> Accounts> Next to subscription click terminate.
Please keep in mind that when you click ‘terminate’ you are terminating your subscription effective immediately, therefore your pricing option will expire immediately. If you have just had a payment come out of your account wait until the end of your monthly payment cycle until you terminate your subscription so you can still use your full payment. Personal Agreement
I agree that My Mama Said Pty Ltd is in no way responsible for my personal belongings whilst I attend class. I agree to participate in classes knowing that there is a risk of personal injury, property loss or death. I have disclosed any previous illnesses, injury or disease. I acknowledge that I have sought appropriate medical advice in relation to any previous illnesses, injuries or disease and I am aware that they may be exasperated or prevent me from executing the class safely.I agree that I, my family, assigns or legal representatives will not take any legal claims of any kind against My Mama Said Pty Ltd or its representatives and members for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or any other matter. In the case of any theft of your personal property, you must report it to a staff member of My Mama Said Pty Ltd immediately.
